IN MAPLETON, UTAH
WELCOME
THANK YOU FOR ALLOWING US TO BE A PART OF YOUR WELLNESS JOURNEY

GETTING STARTED
Ready to Get Started?
We've made getting started with ketamine therapy as simple as possible. Your consultation and first infusion can be completed during the same appointment, so you don't have to make multiple visits before beginning treatment.
Step 1: Complete Our Quick Online Form
Start by completing our brief online form. We'll ask whether you're a new or existing patient and a few basic questions about you. It only takes a couple minutes to complete.
Step 2: We'll Contact You
Once we receive your form, a member of our team will reach out to answer any initial questions and help schedule your first appointment.
Step 3: Consultation + First Infusion
At your first appointment, you'll meet with our provider for a consultation. We'll review your medical history, current medications, symptoms, treatment goals, and any questions or concerns you may have.
If you and our provider determine that ketamine is appropriate for you, you will receive your first infusion during that same visit. There's no need to schedule a separate consultation before beginning treatment.
Before Your First Appointment
Please arrange for a trusted adult to drive you home. Ketamine temporarily affects coordination, perception, an reaction time, so you will not be able to drive yourself after your infusion.
From your first appointment through follow-up and maintenance care, our team will be here to guide and support you throughout your treatment.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Ketamine works differently from many traditional mental health medications. It affects the brain's glutamate system, particularly NMDA and AMPA receptors, and is believed to promote neuroplasticity - the brain's ability to form and strengthen neural connections. This increased flexibility may help interrupt rigid patterns of thinking and creat an opportunity for healthier thoughts, behaviors, and emotional responses to develop.
During Your Infusion
Your treatment will take place in a comfortable, supportive environment while our clinical team monitors you throughout the infusion. Your ketamine dose is individualized based on your medical history, response to treatment, and treatment goals.
During the infusion, you may experience sensations such as:
-
A feeling of deep relaxation or calm
-
Lightheadedness or a floating sensation
-
Changes in your perception of time, space, sound, or your surroundings
-
Vivid thoughts, imagery, colors, or memories
-
A sense of being temporarily detached from your body or surroundings
-
Mild dizziness or nausea
These effects are temporary and generally begin to fade shortly after the infusion is complete. Our clinicla team will be available throughout your treatment to monitor your safety, answer questions, and provide support if you become uncomfortable.
After Your Infusion
You may feel tired, slightly dizzy, lightheaded, or mentally "foggy" for a short period following treatment. We will monitor you after your infusion and make sure you are ready to leave before you are discharged.
Because ketamine temporarily affects coordination, perception, and reaction time, you will need a trusted adult to drive you home after every infusion. You should not drive or operate machinery for the remainder of the day.
Some patients notice improvements in mood or symptoms relatively quickly, while others experience more gradual changes over a series of treatments. Every person responds differently, and your treatment plan will be individualized based on your symptoms and response.
Your Treatment Is Personalized
Your infusion includes your individualized ketamine dose as well as medications that may be clinically appropriate to help manage side effects, such as nausea or changes in blood pressure.
Before beginning treatment, you will meet with our provider to review your medical history, current medications, treatment goals, potential risks and benefits, and any questions or concerns you may have.
Ketamine treatment is more than the time you spend in the infusion chair. We are here to support you throughout the process - from your initial consultation through your induction series, follow-up care, and maintenance treatments when appropriate.
You won't go through your ketamine journey alone.
